Strategic Partners of the World Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WAIE) are pivotal to the success of the organization. They are businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies that work with WAIE to support young scholars in creating generational wealth. They bring a different perspective than our volunteers while they focus on systemic initiatives to create change in the education system for youth who are furthest from educational justice.

Graduation is the most important time in a student's life. However, when it comes to the young scholars of the World Academy for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (WAIE) there are 3 extraordinary things students do after graduating from WAIE. Traditionally, in high school, students spend 12 years in school until they become a senior and graduate. At WAIE, we ask students to start with us during their 7th year of school and continue until they reach their 14th year of education.
A key element to the work of WAIE is financial wellness and generational wealth creation. Financial wellness comprises the importance of financial literacy and has to do with your relationship with money. It refers to how secure your money is, given all the variables involving an unknown future.
What we eat begins to affect our bodies before it even gets to our guts. The anticipation alone of a tasty treat is enough to make us salivate, readying our systems for nutrient breakdown, transport, and use as energy for all of life’s activities. The importance of healthy eating and nutrition is the key to a fully functioning body.
At the core of the World Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WAIE)'s teachings are that of our ancestral Hebrew principles. When our young scholars learn about business and entrepreneurship they will learn about the foundational teachings of how they should operate their business before learning about business practices for world cultures. There are 33 Hebrew Principles for Best Business Practices that are key for all young scholars to learn about. According to the American Psychological Association, 50% of mental illnesses begin by the age of 14 and 75% by the age of 24. As many of these concerns arise throughout a student’s school years and because children spend much of their time at school, it makes sense that the importance of mental health education to be at the forefront of curriculum.
Why does being suspended or expelled increase the likelihood that a student will drop out of school? Understanding the impacts of school retention, school suspension, and school expulsion are crucial to developing success plans for youth in the education system. Although this phenomenon has been well-established and researched, schools continue to utilize school suspension and school expulsion as forms of punishment. These forms of punishment have negative impacts on students’ wellbeing in both the short and long term, within and outside of the classroom.
